Sue Lakin CVT, VTS (ECC), Senior Technician

Sue has been with ECA for nearly 19 years now. She is an early graduate of MATC's vet tech program. She has served as the cornerstone of our wildlife rehabilitation efforts. She has played a pivotal role in the creation and continuation of our blood bank. Sue has the never ending and often thankless task of maintaining our state of the art laboratory.

To better herself and better serve our patients, Sue has completed the rigorous steps to becoming a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care (VTS(ECC)). In what little time Sue spends away from ECA, she works as an assistant instructor of Clinical Pathology at MATC, and tends to her menagerie of animals at home.

Sue is also a VECCS member and attends their conference every year.
