Dr. Keith Gunby

Dr. Gunby is one of the rare few who was accepted into vet school without an undergraduate degree. He received his DVM from the University of Tennessee in 1990. He spent the next decade working in emergency/critical care as well as general practice in Connecticut. Dr. Gunby spent several years serving as the Chief  Veterinarian for the Can-Am Crown dog sled race. This is where he met the woman who would become his wife and who would bring him to Wisconsin. ECA was graced with Dr. Gunby’s presence in 2000. He has since come to be known in the community for his medical and surgical brilliance, as well as his compassionate demeanor. While he posesses great skill in veterinary surgery, Dr. Gunby enjoys the opportunity to offer the less invasive alternative of endoscopy when applicable.  This now include rigid endoscopy, which allows minimally invasive investigation of body cavities for biopsies, repairs and other procedues.  This is called laparoscopy when it involves the abdomen and thoracoscopy when the chest cavity is involved.

In his spare time, Dr. Gunby enjoys pampering his 3yr. old son and 1yr. old daughter, tending his Orchid collection, and persuing the art of fine woodworking.
