Dr. Brooke Milde
Dr. Milde has always enjoyed science and aspired to become a veterinarian from a young age. Before veterinary school she worked as a research specialist at Abbot Laboratories, but soon moved back to Madison and continued research work in a Biochemistry lab on campus. There she met her husband, Brock, who supported and encouraged her through the years of preparing for and attending veterinary school.
Dr. Milde graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation she worked in a busy day practice and saw emergencies on evenings and weekends. She has been with ECA/UCA since 2007 and enjoys focusing on emergency and critical care. Dr. Milde strives to provide compassionate, thorough care to all her patients and to communicate effectively with their owners.
She lives on wooded property west of Sauk City with her husband, son Kai, Border Collie (Tasman), and 2 cats (Nina and Graycie). She spends her spare time walking in the woods, running, biking, doing various home improvement projects, and reading to her little boy.
