Dr. Marla Lichtenberger DACVECC

Dr. Lichtenberger is a Mequon, WI native and a board certified criticalist. She received her veterinary education at the Veterinary College at Punjab Agricultural University in India.

She served an internship at AMC in New York and completed residency training at the Animal Emergency Center in Milwaukee. She remained there as a staff criticalist for 10 years. She left in 2007 to devote herself to being a guest editor for the May 2007 edition of Veterinary Clinics of North America: Exotic Animal Practice. 

Dr. Lichtenberger lectures worldwide on emergency and critical care of exotic species. She has also published numerous articles in a variety of journals on the these subjects.
